About Gordilly Park
Our Passion:
Gordilly Park
The moment that changed our lives.
It was love at first sight in 2015 when we came across this Valais herd on the Matterhorn mountain in Switzerland.
The Valais breed are so easy to love that finding a farm to surround ourselves with Valais was an easy choice.
Being at the forefront of introducing Valais Blacknose Sheep to Australia is a passion. We pride ourselves as major contributors to the breed’s introduction, working to ensure quality genetic diversity and the long-term sustainability. Our dedication extends beyond having Valais on the ground; we actively import semen and embryos, playing a pivotal role in supporting genetic diversity across the country.
Central to our ethos is our commitment to the health and well-being of our herd. We believe in fostering strong relationships with our Valais and Alpacas, and this involves daily interactions to build trust and ensure their proper handling.
In addition to our commitment to genetic diversity, we take pride in our holistic approach to sales. At Gordilly Park, we envision an experience where individuals not only purchase but also have access to ongoing support if needed. We offer this to new breeders, providing insights and guidance on how to derive maximum enjoyment from their alpacas and, their Valais.
Our vision is not just about selling animals; it’s about building a community of informed and passionate breeders who share the enjoyment Valais bring.
